A Beautiful Day

Tuesday was such a beautiful day. Not just because of the gorgeous weather. It just feels good to be feeling a little better. We had an Easter Egg hunt, and I have to say that we have the best playgroup around here. I have such wonderful friends and I love getting together with them. They make me smile. They make me laugh. They make me gasp. They make me know that I'm not alone in this little ole world. Each one of them is amazing.

Sammie was so excited for this egg hunt and Olivia was completely jealous that she couldn't go. Sorry kiddo. You're a big first grader now.
She was so cute and lined up all of her eggs and counted them all out...and then ate almost all of the candy while I was pushing Abby on the swing. She was so wired and cranky the rest of the day. Abby loves the swing by the way. She squeals with delight. Cute.

Ahhh...Spring. Ahhh-choo!

Welcome the first day of spring. It was an absolutely beautiful day.

I snuck up on the girls while they were outside coloring.

Then they smiled for me.

And then they politely asked me to stop taking pictures...They're busy I guess.

I'm 10 months old today.

We had a whole lot of this going on today.

This morning the sun shown bright through the windows and Olivia and Sammie went right to work coloring and cutting.

I've been catching up on scrapbooking. Starting 2009! Only just over a year behind now. I actually like being behind...it's fun to see the pitures when the moments are now memories.

Abby seems to be everywhere. She pulls herself up on everything.

And she has reached a new milestone. The piano keys are in reach!

I have all that laundry to fold. Oh wait, there's more in the dryer and in the washer. Yuck!

The sun is shining and it's a good day.

Hello Mary Poppins

I get to see a great show every day.

Happy Birthday to you! You live in the Zoo!

You look like a monkey...and you smell like one too!This is how Sammie wanted us to sing her birthday song to her. She is "the funny one" in the family. She's always trying to make us laugh as she herself will roll over in laughter at anything remotely funny. She definitely sees the humor in life and she is such a bright spot in our home and getting to be such a big girl.

We actaully celebrated last night because Joey is busy tonight so she is sort of having a birthday weekend because we also went out to dinner on Saturday night. She loved all of her presents, but especially her scooter, which has a special place for "Barbie" to ride along. A little weird, but she's 4 and thinks it's "awesome." She loves the word "awesome" and Sammie is pretty much just awesome.

7:45 in the morning and trying out the new scooter. She couldn't wait. It was also cold by the way, but my kids think that if the sun is shining it is summer and "swimming weather."
