I love Kid Art

One of my favorite things that my kids do is draw and create.  I love to watch them come up with beautiful ideas and make something that is all them.  We made a list of art projects that we wanted to do this summer and this was our first one.  A couple of years ago we made self-portraits and they have hung on my pantry door.  They have mentioned that we needed to make new ones.  Kids are natural artists.  I love looking at these and seeing their personalities in the portraits.  Abby did so well!  She drew it all herself.  They just know how to capture themselves.  I took lots of pictures of the process. I smile every time I look at these creations on my pantry door.

Summer Kick Off

After school got out we headed up to my parent's for a few days.  The girls were anxious to get lots of swimming in and we were looking forward to relaxing.  They swam 4 different times the first day we were there.  It was a fun way to start off our summer.  I love these pictures we took with my Grandma Pebley.  She is such a fun and beautiful person.  She is so young at heart.  I have so many happy memories in her home and I'm glad that my kids have been able to spend a little time there too.  Buster and Noah came along with us.  We love having cousins in tow.

Last Day...

Summer is rolling right along and I've got all sorts of things to catch up on.  The last day of school is always exciting and sad at the same time.  Here are this year's teacher pictures.  Once again, almost didn't happen, but I managed to whip them out somehow.  Sammie and Olivia both had wonderful teachers this year.  We lucked out.  I am so excited to have all these girls in one school for one precious year next year.  I have already been thinking about how fun it will be to drop them all off together in the mornings.
