A couple of weekends ago we had a ward Temple day in Los Angeles. I didn't take any pictures around the Temple, but it was such a beautiful day. It was a special experience to spend the night before on the Temple grounds in the temple apartments. We popped some popcorn and watched a movie. The next day, Joey and I were able to go to the Temple while the girls hung out with other kids from our ward and some of the youth.
After the temple we headed to Santa Monica Pier. I crave the beach. I really do wish I lived closer. We had a fun time walking up and down the beach and Joey and Olivia walked along the pier. We hope to go back sometime in the summer so the girls can go on the rides at the pier.
It was fun to watch people and be together as a family. I'm glad that we stuck out the traffic and went over to the beach. We loved the time we had away.
