Abby loves the being the boss. My parents got a new puppy, Buster, recently and Abby has taken on the mothering role quite well. "Buster, stop! Buster, down! No biting! Come here!" She always knows where he is and what he's doing. She grabs him by the collar to coax him into doing what she wants. In this case it's "Drop the ball and take a picture with me." Buster doesn't seem to mind. He gives her a lovey face and obeys. I'd say she's got this puppy wrapped around her little finger. And Abby relishes the enjoyment of getting to be the boss of someone. Finally. These two make quite the pair.
