Last night I was so frustrated/disgusted with Olivia's long hair that I sat her down in the bathroom and cut off 3 inches. She was resistant at first, but now realizes that it really does look better.
At the same time I was doing that, Sammie was helping Abby take her bath. This morning I noticed a big greasy spot in Abby's hair at her scalp that she keeps scratching. I think they may have not rinsed too well.
Last week I hurt my back. It was terrible. I was miserable. It is doing much better, but I still have to be careful.
Sammie and Olivia are in a play and it is getting really busy. For the next 2 weeks, we won't be doing much else.
Olivia was doing science homework last week. She has never liked science and is so hard on herself. She thinks that just because she doesn't like something then she must be bad at it. While doing her homework she said, "I'm actually really good at science, but I still don't really like it."
For some reason Abby has been stressed out about St. Patrick's Day. I just mentioned that they would need to wear something green. Abby had tears welling in her eyes and told me that she just doesn't like St. Patrick's Day.
Last week I was resting my sore back while laying on the trampoline. I looked up and noticed these beautiful clouds. The sun was hiding behind them creating an amazing effect. I was reminded of how much my Heavenly Father loves me. I really needed that.
