Funny things out of their mouths...

As I was getting out of the car Sammie got out of her seat and then was lifting herself off the ground between the two captain's chairs.
Frustrated with her dawdling I asked her to come. Not really bothered by my frustration she said,
"This is how you do a trick, mom," and then hopped right out of the car. Um, thanks for the show Sammie.

I was a having a little discussion with Olivia about right and wrong. I asked her, "Who was the only perfect person?"

"Ummm...Martin Luther King," she said with a little smile. They spent quite of bit of time talking about him at school.

well she learned something at school about Martin Luther King. how funny is that. they say the funniest things. there used to be a television show with Art Linkletter and on his show he would have a segment with kids about 6 of them sitting in chairs on stage and he would ask them random questions. they would say the funniest things.

I once asked Ashlynne when she was little if someone tried to give you money what would you say "please" I told her this was not a time to be polite. You just run.

I have things written down that my children have said when they were young. I think it is so funny what they say.

They must have told them quite a bit about Martin Luther. I once asked Tiffanie who made her beautiful and she said the Holy Ghost. How funny kids can be and what they say you never know. They are very honest as well. Once when Janiece was 4 she saw this lady who was smoking and she went to the lady and said her baby was going to die she was execting. I just about died of embaressment
