Art Day

Last week Abby and I got out some creative stuff and came up with these little creatures. Then she had a desire to paint and created quite a masterpiece. Not long after I left her slightly unattended and she went right up her hands and arms with the paint. I love seeing my kids being creative, even though it gets messy. And I'm not always in the mood to deal with the mess, like right now I am blogging and my entire house looks like an explosion has gone off. I'm still recovering from Sammie's birthday party. Let's just say that I'm very excited for my cleaning lady to come on Friday. Best thing I have ever paid for. A cleaning lady. Get one. It's awesome. I don't know if I will ever be able to give it up even when I can clean up the house on my own. For now, I'm not stressing about the mess. It will eventually get clean...at some point. My kids are actually pretty good at 1 minute clean ups of the living room. That just might be our Family Home Evening activity tonight.
