Sammie's birthday party was adorable. I don't know where I got this idea exactly, but I thought it would just be fun to do a BIRTHDAY party with all the old party games and wear party dresses. We played "Pin the Tail on the Donkey," did the "Hokey Pokey," played "Duck-Duck-Goose," wore party hats, ate pb&j, and had a simple birthday cake. It was a bit crazy with 12 little 6 year old girls in my house. I'm glad it was a nice day so that they could all eat and play outside. I had some extra help and it turned out perfectly. The little girls left the party with a balloon in hand and their little favor bags. So cute.

I love the idea of a regular old fashioned birthday party, party hats, dresses and all. I think I will have to use that sometime.
Wow! That must have taken so much prep time with all the little details and decorations. You are amazing! It looks like it turned out really nice!
P.S. I forgot to mention that I LOVE the idea! I'll have to remember that one for Kenna...the party dress feel would definitely fit her personality.
