Family Outing

 I was joking and part serious when I was talking with my sister-in-law that if we lived near all of my family that my family would probably be my only friends.  It is just so much fun to do things with them.  We went with Dianna and her boys to the Capitol building in Sacramento.  The kids were most impressed with the gigantic Christmas Tree outside.  Abby kept wondering, "How did they get all those ornaments on there?"  We went inside and looked around and then headed across the street to have lunch at La Bou.  Yum.  I hadn't been there in a long time.  We had such a fun time with family over the break and I always feel a bit of a let down when we leave.  I'm glad that we get to spend so much time together when we come up.  Everyone gathers at my parents in the evenings and we play games and just visit and sometimes don't do much of anything.  It is just fun to be in one another's company.
