The day after Christmas we drove up to the bay area and met my family at AT&T Park to watch the BYU football bowl game. It was so great to see everyone and even more exciting when our cars met on the Embarcadero completely unplanned as we were trying to find parking. Suddenly we looked behind us and saw Nate and Dianna waving and everyone else was in the back. Our tired girls, suddenly perked up.
It was the first time at a BYU game with my kids too. They enjoyed it for the first while when we were eating, but it got a bit long for them and it wasn't all that exciting of a game, but still it was a good time with my family.
We stayed the night at Joey's parents so we wouldn't have to get to my parent's too late. We drove out in the morning.
I love these vacations when I get to be with my family. I really needed it then. It helped me to feel rejuvenated and encouraged. The girls got to open presents from my parents. It was fun to spread Christmas out a little like this. My pictures are little blurry. I was using my phone. My new phone I might add.
