Camp KEEP

Every year,  the sixth graders go on a week long educational field trip to Camp KEEP.  Olivia was excited but nervous to be away for so long.  She hasn't ever been away from home like this before and she wasn't quite sure what to expect.  She had a great time and was all smiles when she got home.  She was so excited to show us her pictures that she took.  It looks like the kids had a lot of fun.  I'm glad that she was able to have this experience.  I remember going to my sixth grade camp, Sly Park.  I made some great memories there, but it also was a little weird.  Staying in cabins with other kids.  Some that you don't know.
Her favorite things were the hikes.  She really reached out of her comfort zone on a lot of things which was so great for her. 
Here at home things were very quiet with her gone.  Sammie and Abby moped about missing their sister quite frequently.  It was one of those weeks that just seem to drag by and someone would say, "I can't wait until Olivia gets home."  Now that she is home, we are very glad to have her back.
