We took a day trip to the beach then stayed the night at Joey's brother's house. We ate dinner together and the girls played with their dogs. I can't believe how much more comfortable they are around dogs now. They used to run and cry whenever they saw any dog and now they sort of light up a little when a dog comes around. They even petted a huge gigantic dog a few weeks ago. Couldn't believe it.
The beach was cold in the morning and the water freezing, but that doesn't stop anyone from a little splashing around. The sun soon came out and it was a beautiful day. They were so covered in sand. Every inch. Abby came right out of the water all wet and then rolled in the sand like a dog. Sand EVERYWHERE. We went to a few shops in the town and went to the toy store and the candy store. A must-do on our beach trips.
