Abby had her 1 month checkup. 10 lbs and 20.5 inches! She gained a whole 2 pounds this first month. I can tell. She seems so much heavier. Hopefully I'll have strong arms from carrying her. She's a cutie. She is a great baby...doesn't fuss too much, is sleeping well at night. Naps are another story. She gets overstimulated really easily. Her doctor was remarking how alert she was today. I said, "Yeah, then she doesn't sleep." "She's really overstimulated. That's why she is having a hard time falling asleep", she said.
I can only get her to sleep in her swing if she gets all wound up or in her little bouncy chair with the vibrator on. It's kind of hard not to get wound up when your older sisters are in your face all the time. They luuuuv their baby sister. They really can't wait for Abby to start playing with them. I hope we get out of this phase soon. She just has a hard time adjusting to all the sounds around her. My other girls went through this too at this age. It's a Biron baby thing I guess. Usually by three months they have outgrown it. For now, it's whatever I can do to get her to sleep.

I hear 'overstimulated' infants end up being brilliant kids. :-) She's adorable and getting so big already!
Wow, one month already? Funny how it flies by when you're not the one trying to get the baby to sleep!
She is getting so cute! Wait till she is 22lbs like Spencer then you can complain about carrying her around. :)
She is so cute Anne. I can't believe how big she has gotten. It is so fun to read your blog and see how big the girls are getting.
Annie -- I have never known a baby that is one month old and on a schedule you could count on. Just try to enjoy each day as she gets used to life in the Biron household. Rest as much as you can and laugh every day! I promise it will get easier.
